As I am very much into music in different ways I’m also interested in the dynamics within a band. Trying to capture that dynamic in a band’s rehearsal room is actually pretty hard. The band knows that you are around, at least until they’ve got used to you hanging around, so to find that “freedom” of expression amongst members is hard. Not always but more often than not.
The other day I had the opportunity to photograph a local constellation Honeyburst, consisting of two brothers Ola and Mats, and their wiz buddy Fredrik. Honeyburst’s music is smooth and soft on ears, soul, and heart. Whether I managed to capture the group’s internal dynamic or not hopefully the frames will tell. Honeyburst can be heard and seen at a local restaurant in Strängnäs, L’Oasis, a couple of times every year.
