I bought a lens for less than 15 euros the other day. A pancake size Tamron Adaptall II 28mm 2.5 from the early 80’s. As I came home after picking it up my two youngest girls were looking for tabs for popular songs in our bedroom. A nice opportunity to try this old lens, with moderate reviews on the different forum outlets online. I liked it though, pushing the grain a bit at ASA 1600 with my beloved Nikon D700.
